All aspects of modern life are becoming more and more infused with digital technologies. More diversity, equality, and inclusion in technology is a need for today’s society. Safer-I has also organized a number of inclusive tech workshops that focuses on creating awareness regarding safer and accessible technology that is also gender-inclusive and disabled-affirmative. The participants are taught how to create readable and accessible content, using gender-neutral and gender-affirmative content-making strategies and other practices of digital accessibility and inclusivity. The first inclusive tech workshop was organized during the 2019 WLiT fellowship. Five such workshops have been conducted for 85 participants as of now.
