In a world where it feels like the internet and social media has permeated into every aspect of our life, one needs to learn how to take precautions and be safe digitally. The internet safety workshop provided by Safer-I teaches the participants how to be safe on social media including the basics of reporting and blocking hateful content/ accounts. We have conducted two such sessions. We organized an internet safety workshop in association with Political Literacy for Women Nepal for an audience of over 27,000 people. We also took the workshop to a local school in Ambapur, Dang, and taught around 100 students there the basics of social media safety, community guidelines, and mass reporting techniques.
